Youngsters took part in rock climbing lessons

Today volunteers from Yoan Ekzarh Language High School in Vratsa, with the profile “Animators in tourism” and part of the team of Youth Center Vratsa, took part in free practical activities in rock climbing, organized by the extreme sports club “Vratitsa”. This activity aims to educate young people about the sports and tourism opportunities that Vratsa Balkan offers. In addition, to be informed how to practice this sport safely.
The young people had the opportunity to learn in theory and practice the basics of rock and alpine climbing. During the training, the participants were shown different types of routes, techniques and knots. In the practical part, each of them had the opportunity to climb several types of routes provided and supported by the coaches – mountaineers.
We send our sincere thanks to the Extreme Sports Club “Vratitsa” – Vratsa for the wonderful and professional attitude towards our youngsters.
In this regard, we would like to share with you that this weekend Vratsa is holding competitions in mountain bike, paragliding, rock climbing and the European Karting Championship. This only shows how rich the cultural and tourist program of our city is. Visit these events and you will not regret it!
