The youth initiatives here do not stop! Today we gathered with the youngsters from team “Masters” who held their first workshop in the village of Zlidol on creating traditional costumes for the region. To the sound of folklore music, they showed us how to sew aprons and how to use a sewing machine. The goal of their initiative is to introduce the young people from the region to traditional Bulgarian garments and to immerse them in the magic of their making, as well as to pass on the experience of their creation to the youth. The youth initiative will continue throughout the summer and will culminate in a fashion show of the costumes they have made in early autumn! Stay tuned for an open workshop in Youth Center – Vratsa. We are grateful for the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the past and create not just costumes, but art!
The youth initiative “100 summers back” of team “Masters” is part of the activities of Project BGLD – 1.003 – 0004 “Youth Centre Vratsa – a factor for the development of the North-West”, funded through the EEA Financial Mechanism 2014-2021.
