Yesterday, we watched the documentary movie “Ekaterina” in the Youth Centre- Vratsa. It reveals the extraordinary public role played by Ekaterina Karavelova in the life of Bulgaria. After that, there was a motivational talk with the film’s director, Boyana Topchiyska. She told us how the idea for the film was born and what the director’s profession is. It turned out to be a fascinating conversation, with many questions from the participants. The event dedicated to “International Women’s Day” was attended by nearly 40 young people, who not only learned a little more about our Bulgarian history but were also motivated after the film by the exciting story of its director. At the end of our meeting, we expressed our gratitude to all participants and wished them to be more engaged with the local society!
The Motivation talk is part of the activities under Project BGLD – 1.003 – 0004 “Youth Center Vratsa – a factor for the development of the Northwest”, financed through the Financial Mechanism of the EEA 2014-2021.
