On 27 of January the youth workers from the Youth Center – Vratsa held a training on the topic “Tolerant together – let’s say No to the language of hate on the Internet” with students from Dimitraki Hadjitoshin Professional School, Vratsa. This activity was part of the campaign on the occasion of International Safer Internet Day. Youth workers were thankful for the materials they used during the training to their friends from the Safenet Center. The young people took an active part, taking seriously the issue of sending implicit photos between peers and beyond. When sexting happened the consequences of it could be dramatic if the person didn`t seеk help. Youth workers discussed all this, the image we built in the social networks, the rules we had about using different applications. Youth workers commented on the positive and negative consequences of reckless actions in cyberspace.
The training “Tolerant Together – Let’s Say No to the language of hate on the Internet” is part of the activities of the Youth Center – Vratsa in the implementation of Project BGLD – 1.003 – 0004 “Youth Center Vratsa – a factor in the development of the Northwest”, funded by the EEA Financial Mechanism 2014-2021.
