Yesterday, the “Sports Animation and Tourism” club at the Youth Center – Vratsa together with VratsaTrails held a lecture on “Introduction to Mountain Biking”.

During the event, the boys and girls from the association told the participants about different types of mountain biking, the most important elements for effective and safe descents, and also shared about the efforts they make to build, maintain and create new routes over Zgorigrad village. They also shared their impressive stories from participation in competitions both in Bulgaria and abroad. Thanks to everyone for their active participation and to VratsaTrails for the wonderful lecture and discussion that followed.

Special guests at the event were the mayor of the village of Zgorigrad – Mr. Angel Petrov and the chairman of the “Vratsa Cycling Society” cycling club, Mr. Angel Angelov.

The event is part of the activities of the “Sports Animation and Tourism” club, carried out under Project BGLD – 1.003 – 0004 “Vratsa Youth Center – a factor for the development of the Northwest”, financed through the Financial Mechanism of the EEA 2014-2021.
