Today, during the National Folklore Assembly “Ledenika”, the Youth Center – Vratsa organizes a “Children’s Corner” for the youngest and slightly older guests of the event. It was divided into two main parts – a craft workshop for the little ones and “Games from the Time of Grandmother and Grandfather”. Many volunteers from various youth organizations in the city of Vratsa took part in it. During the workshop, the children had the opportunity to participate in the making of kuker masks, to draw and color pictures with traditional motifs, to make bracelets, wreaths, airplanes, kites and various other little things that aimed to awaken their creativity and love for Bulgarian traditions!Part of the activities were carried out thanks to the Activity Lab, implemented under the project “Youth center – a factor for the development of the North-West”.But let’s not forget “Games from the Time of Grandmother and Grandfather”, in which children had fun, just as their mothers, fathers, grandmothers and grandfathers did back in the day. Playing folk ball, blind grandmother, tug of war, drunken carrot and much much more! The day was filled with many pleasant emotions, children’s noise and smiles.
P.P. We know that we are all pretty, cool and photogenic and we show it!
This is the time to express our sincere thanks to all the volunteers (from all youth organizations) who joined the activities and gave their all. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, you are wonderful! This event wouldn’t be the same without you!
Part of the activities in the craft workshop were carried out thanks to the Activity Lab, implemented under the project BGLD – 1.003 – 0004 “Vratsa Youth Center – a factor for the development of the Northwest”, financed through the Financial Mechanism of the EEA 2014-2021.
