Today, an information campaign on the topic “Prevention of tuberculosis” was held among the students of “Goran Chervenyashki” Еlementary School, Mihaylovo village. The event was organized in connection with the celebration on 24 of March – World tuberculosis day! The inclusion of the Youth Center – Vratsa in this campaign and the celebration of this day is no accident! Vracha region has the highest number of people infected with tuberculosis per 100,000 people in Bulgaria. The students were introduced to the possibilities of prevention, the risks of this disease and its forms. Information materials were also distributed. The event took place with great interest and heated discussions.

This campaign is part of the activities of the Youth Center – Vratsa under the implementation of Project BGLD – 1.003 – 0004 “Youth Center Vratsa – a factor for the development of the Northwest”, financed through the EEA Financial Mechanism 2014-2021.
