This past Saturday was all about creating board games! “Board Game Jam Vol. 2” was held at the Youth Center – Vratsa. The only event in Northwest Bulgaria for the creation of board games by young people, which aims to develop their creativity, teamwork and entrepreneurship. As many as 6 teams embarked on this adventure that lasted all day! This year we had a renewed regulation and theme for young developers to create their board game prototype. The theme was “FURIOUS”!
Everyone was very creative and no two games were the same. In the breaks of the event, we had planned themed entertainment, namely testing two games that were in development – “Climbers” by Fungedu – Fungedu, and the other by our friends from Player Lair. The battle between the teams was very contested and until the last moment it was very difficult to judge which game would take the prize. After deep discussion and evaluation, the jury announced its top three!
In third place was the team “Shkembe Chorba” with its game of the same name, which collected 34.5 points out of 50 possible.
The second place for the team “Rakreposteni Selyans” with their game “Are you mad?” with a score of 38 points out of a possible 50.
Winner of the second edition of “Board Game Jam Vol. 2” became the “Latecomers” team with the “Chili Peppers” game scoring 40.75 out of 50 points.
Two individual awards were also given out!
Through a raffle in which all participants of the “Board Game Jam Vol. 2 ” was given a voucher for the PC game “Night of Honor 2”. It was won by Timon Trifonov! Many thanks to Black Sea Games and INTERCULTURA for the award!
The other prize was a book – a game, which was given to the participant who was declared the most team player during the event, namely Kristiyan Andreev!
