The week with us is again dedicated to travel. Yesterday we arrived in Budapest, and today we are already in work sessions – we are guests of the European Youth Center! In the first morning session, we had the opportunity to learn about the work of the Council of Europe and how the European Youth Centers (in Strasbourg and Budapest) function, what missions, policies and goals they develop. We talked about the history of the Youth Center in Budapest, and then about financial models and sustainable development. In the afternoon sessions, we continued with a conversation about the infrastructure and material base of the Center, we also took an inspiring tour around the entire building, which, by the way, is not small at all.During this two-day working meeting, we are not alone – we are here together with colleagues from the International Youth Center – Pernik/International Youth Center Pernik and the International Youth Center – Burgas. Thank you very much for the invitation to the colleagues from Pernik!
The working visit to the European Youth Center – Budapest is part of the activities under Project BGLD – 1.003 – 0004 “Youth Center Vratsa – a factor for the development of the Northwest”, financed through the Financial Mechanism of the EEA 2014-2021.
