Students built birdhouses

Today we visited again our friends from the Eco Club "Green Planet" at Professional school "Aleko Konstantinov" Mezdra. Together we assembled the birdhouses bought from their youth initiative. We had also time to painted them and mounted them on the trees in the school yard. The young people were so enthusiastic that they could hardly wait for us to come and immediately started working. The activity is part of their youth initiative "I want to learn about the birds in my native region and help their conservation and species conservation". Now they will continues with bird watching, taking caring for the installed houses and learning about the biodiversity of the region. We congratulated them for their hard work. 

The youth initiative is part of Project BGLD - 1.003 - 0004 "Vratsa Youth Center - a factor for the development of the North-West", financed through the Financial Mechanism of the EEA 2014-2021.
