On 23 of March an information campaign about “Prevention of tuberculosis” was held at “Hristo Botev” Hight School in Oryahovo. The event was organized in connection with the celebration of World Tuberculosis Day (24.03)! Our inclusion in this campaign and the celebration of this day is not accidental! Vratsa region has the highest number of infected per 100,000 people with tuberculosis in Bulgaria. The students from 12th grade were introduced to the possibilities of prevention, the risks of this disease and its forms. Information materials were also distributed. There is still time in the context of health policies to introduce to the young people to the Conference about the Future of Europe, where they can give their opinion, idea and desire to improve the health status of young people in the North-West. The event took place with great interest and heated discussions.
The campaign about “Prevention of tuberculosis” is part of the activities of the Youth Center – Vratsa in the implementation of Project BGLD – 1.003 – 0004 “Youth Center Vratsa – a factor in the development of the Northwest”, funded by the EEA Financial Mechanism 2014-2021 г.
