On 22 of March, a demonstration tournament in Canadian wrestling was held with the special participation of the European champion in Canadian wrestling, Mr. Iskren Zdravkov. The competition took place as part of the “Creating Together” youth initiatives. During the event, young people had the opportunity to learn more about this sport, and then to participate in the demonstration tournament, with prizes for the best. Young people from Vratsa, Pernik and Vidin took part in the skirmishes. All this happened under the expert guidance of the European champion, who not only kept order, but also demonstrated his skills. The Canadian wrestling demonstration tournament is part of the youth initiatives of “Creating Together” under Project BGLD – 1.003 – 0004 “Vratsa Youth Center – a factor for the development of the Northwest”, financed through the Financial Mechanism of the EEA 2014-2021.
