On 2 of June, on the occasion of World eating disorders day, a different event was held at the Youth Center – Vratsa dedicated to the struggle of millions of people around the world and thousands of Bulgarians with these insidious conditions. It was meant to show some of the stories of people dealing with eating disorders who have gone through hell and survived to tell!!

Thanks to our guests Teodora Tsveteva – eating disorder psychologist Tedy’s Life and Ilona Anachkova Ilona Anachkova Teaching and Media and Teodora Todorova – members of a lending group, we managed together to achieve a safe environment with the participants during which questions were asked and shared problems.Everyone in attendance learned a lot about the causes and symptoms that can indicate the presence of an eating disorder. The event is part of the initiatives of the “Sports animation and tourism” club at the Youth Center – Vratsa.

A huge thank you to our guest speakers for the strength and motivation they showed us and also decided to tell us their personal stories.
