“Mladost” neighborhood was cleaned thanks to the active young people who took part today in the cleaning event “Young people clean “Mladost”, which is implemented as part of the activities of the project “Partnership for a beautiful and clean Bulgaria” coordinated in Bulgaria by BG Be Active – Plovdiv.
At the end of the event, a raffle was held, and everyone involved had to bring at least one bag of waste to participate in the race for a brand new bike. The award was really an occasion to motivate the young people who managed to collect over 80 bags of all kinds of household waste, which were located on lawns, inter-block spaces, playgrounds, near grocery stores and sidewalks.
From the Youth Center – Vratsa we strongly hope that the result after the cleaning will not be missed by the residents of the neighborhood, but rather will serve for approval and encouragement to keep the common public spaces clean – as they should be.
We thank once again our partners from Vasil Levski Primary School – Vratsa, Dimitraki Hadjitoshin Professional School – Vratsa and Joan Ekzarh Specialized Language School- Vratsa for participating in the event with their graduates and leaders, as well as MUNICIPAL ENTERPRISE BKS, who ensured the transportation of the garbage bags.
We wish the winner of the lottery Georgi Borisov from Vasil Levski Primary School – Vratsa to use his prize with health and to always get involved in useful initiatives.
Expect at least one more cleaning event in the future, in case you missed it now, next time the winner will leave with an even more attractive prize, namely an electric scooter. Follow our news page.
