Last week, part of the project management team BGLD – 1.003 – 0004 “Youth Center Vratsa – a factor for the development of the North-West” visited and got acquainted with the work of the European Youth Center – Budapest, which was established by the Council of Europe and is an engine for development of youth policies and human rights in Europe.
In the week on 4 to 8 of September, we learned more about:
-the history of the center;
-the educational and training program in the field of human rights, the rule of law and democracy;
-priorities in the youth sector;
-the separate administrative and financial procedures they perform.
The coordinator of the project BGLD – 1.003 – 0004 “Vratsa Youth Center – a factor for the development of the Northwest” – Zornitsa Panayotova – participated in the working visit. The heads of youth centers from the country, deputy mayors and representatives of the local administrations of the cities of Stara Zagora, Vratsa, Burgas, Dobrich, Gabrovo and Pernik took part in the meeting.
The visit was organized by TSOIDUEM, within the framework of project BGLD-2.002-0001-C01 “Building capacity for educational and social inclusion”, financed under the Program “Local Development, Poverty Reduction and Improved Inclusion of Vulnerable Groups” of the Financial Mechanism of the EEA 2014 – 2021.
