Interesting training will take place on the karting track in Vratsa

We share with you an interesting opportunity. The Automobile Federation of Bulgaria, together with the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the karting track in Vratsa, will organize a training. It will take place on 07-08.09.2023 from 09:00 to 17:00 and will include:

• Acquiring first reaction skills in case of a road accident, the first steps in first aid, the so-called “Golden Hour” actions;
• A special simulation with VR glasses – 0.8 and 1.2 alcohol;
• The effects on the body of the main types of drugs, the drugs that can lead to a positive drug test and also a visual test with a trained dog from the Customs Agency to detect drugs.
• Access to the most popular motorsport;
• Access to specialists and professionals in the field;
• Proper kart driving.

The training will contribute to young people’s awareness of the need for responsible and sensible behaviour on the road, building skills and knowledge for the recognition and prevention of risky behaviour and different types of addictions, in particular driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol, first key actions in traffic accidents, etc..
Free drinks and food are provided for each participant.
For those under the age of 18, a completed declaration from a parent/guardian is required – can be brought in advance or completed on-site.
Speakers included in the training are:

• Dr Assen Markov – Sports Advisor of the UBA, former champion of Bulgaria and the Balkans in the 400 m hurdles, former Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, former President of the Karting Federation, graduate of the NSA with degrees in athletics coaching, auto-motor sports coach, physical education teacher.
• -Todor Hristov – The first participant in the Dakar Rally, off-road champion of Bulgaria and European off-road champion, chairman of the off-road committee of the Automobile Federation of Bulgaria, chairman of the Bulgarian Water Sports Federation.
• Slavi Pachalov – licensed first aid trainer at the Bulgarian National Committee, former Deputy Minister of Health.
• Stefan Bakalov – Head of the Department for Combating Drug Trafficking at the Customs Agency.
  The training is implemented under the project of the National Programme for Implementation of Youth Activities under Article 10a of the Gambling Act for 2023 at the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
