In the Youth Center – Vratsa on 24.11. young people from “Dimitraki Hadjitoshev” Vocational School – Vratsa met one of the best and talented sculptors of Bulgaria, namely Mr. Milen Vasilev. At the meeting, they discussed with Mr. Vassilev topics related to the beauty and magic of stone figures, and also talked about the practical application of stone in our lives, such as in interior and exterior design. It was also discussed how the Vratsa stone can be a key factor for the development of the region and young people. This meeting was the first of several, with subsequent ones featuring a lecture on how stone is modeled, followed by hands-on activities.Finally, there will be a visit to a local stonemasonry workshop. An exciting adventure awaits us!

The activities are part of the interest club “Youth Development and Entrepreneurship”, which was created under Project BGLD – 1.003 – 0004 “Youth Center Vratsa – a factor for the development of the Northwest”, financed through the Financial Mechanism of the EEA 2014-2021.
