Fieldwork

The fieldwork is one of our priorities of the work in the Youth centre – Vratsa. Thanks to this we can implement the activities connected to our main objectives – campaigns, non-formal activities and training. For example, Youth Center – Vratsa together with the primary school “St. Kiril Metodiy ”- Vratsa and students – volunteers from the branch of the University of Veliko Turnovo “ St. Cyril and Methodius ”- Vratsa organized a training“ School for parents ”for children from vulnerable groups and their families. This was under the National Program“ Together for every child ”. Youth centre – Vratsa reached to young people from many places such as Nefela, Kulata district, Kozloduy, Byala Slatina, Mihailovo, Vlasatitsa, Krushovitsa, Beli Izvor, Virovsko, Tlatchane, Malorad, Lilqche, Varbitsa, Glozene, Hairedin, Butan, Banitsa, Krushovitsa, Mezdra and Eliseina. The Centre reached people from Dospat. Thanks to the work of the youth workers many young people did not drop out of the education system. We use different methods such as individual discussions, non-formal meetings with students, parents and teachers to find the best way to solve the existing obstacles and problems that could put on hold the education of young people at risk of dropping out of school.
