Youth Center Vratza

Day of the holy brothers Cyril and Methodius, of the Bulgarian alphabet, education and culture and of Slavic literature!

On the occasion of the celebration of May 24, the team of the Youth Center Vratsa organizes thematic activities for children and adults. In front of the monument of the holy brothers in the city centre, our team set up an art installation – a photo corner and everyone had the opportunity to write in Glagolitic text of their choice and take unique photos of an antique desk, antique books and writing instruments.
On the occasion of the holiday Youth Center Vratsa prepared a game for lovers of literature. Parts from the poem “Maitse si” by Hristo Botev were written on T-shirts worn by children and young volunteers, and the participants had to arrange them in the correct sequence and name the work and its author.
We thank the young people who joined our initiative as volunteers, as well as all the visitors who made our holiday different and unforgettable! On this day, let us wish us all to preserve our Bulgarian culture. And remember who we are and what we have given to the world!
