Certain "cookies" are necessary for us to be able to securely provide our services through the webpage. This category includes, e.g.:
– "Cookies" that identify or authenticate our users;
– "Cookies" that temporarily store certain user data (for example, content of an online form);
– "Cookies" that store certain user preferences (e.g. search settings or language settings);
– "Cookies" that store data to ensure unobstructed playback of video or audio content.
We use analytical "cookies" to register the behavior of users (e.g. clicking on advertisement banners, entered search queries) and to statistically evaluate these actions.
We also use "cookies" for advertising purposes. User behavior profiles created with the help of such "cookies" (e.g. clicking on advertising banners, visited subpages, entered search queries) are used by us to show you advertisements or offers that are tailored to your interests ("advertisement based on individual interest").
We also allow other companies to evaluate the data of our users through advertising "cookies". This allows us and third parties to show users of our webpage advertisements based on interests, which are based on an analysis of your usage behavior (e.g. clicks on advertising banners, visited subpages, entered queries), and this is not limited only to our online offers.
Our referral tracking partners set "cookies" on your computer ("referral cookie") in case you have reached our website through an advertisement of the respective partner. These "cookies" usually lose their validity after 30 days. In case you visit certain pages that we host, and the "cookie" has not yet expired, we and the respective conversion tracking partner can see that a specific user has clicked on the advertisement and has been referred to our page. The information collected through the referral "cookie" is used to create statistical data for referrals and to determine the total number of users who have clicked on the respective advertisement and have been referred to a page that is equipped with a referral tracking tag.
We need statistical information about the use of our webpage to make it more accessible, to perform reach measurements, and to do market research.
For this purpose, we use the web analysis tools described in this section.
The user profiles created by these tools, with the help of analytical cookies or through evaluation of log files, do not contain personal data. The tools either do not use the IP addresses of users at all, or shorten them immediately after their collection.
The providers of the tools process the data only as personal data processors according to our instructions, and not for their own purposes.
Below you will find information about each tool provider and how you can object to the collection and processing of personal data through the tool.
You should keep in mind that with tools that use opt-out cookies, the opt-out function is related to the device or browser and, therefore, is valid for the currently used terminal device or browser. If you use several terminal devices or browsers, you must select the opt-out function on each terminal device and in each used browser.
Furthermore, in general, you can prevent the creation of user profiles by disabling the use of cookies.
Google Analytics is offered by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"). We use Google Analytics with the additional function offered by Google for anonymization of IP addresses. Google shortens the IP address even within the EU and only in exceptional cases in the USA, and in both cases records only shortened IP addresses.
