Another youth initiative is being implemented today!

A “Table tennis” tournament was held in the village of Lik. The event is part of the “Creating together” 2021 youth initiatives of the “We win together” team. In this way, young people showed the importance of sports in our daily life and that no one should be deprived of physical activity, regardless of age. Turniter was part of the activities dedicated to the 185th anniversary of the birth of the Apostle of Freedom – Vasil Levski. The event began with a cultural program in front of the commemorative plaque placed on the house where the great revolutionary spent the night when a revolutionary committee was founded in the village.

And then, the celebration continued in the Community Center, where the table tennis tournament was also held. It was in 3 age categories: children, youth and veterans. In parallel, while the tournament was going on in the next room, which was renovated as a youth space for a “Board games” club, children and youth could play together while waiting for their turn. This shows that in Lik we manage to work actively with young people and the youth space is used and recognized by them.

We are extremely happy with the results achieved and we promise that the joint activities will continue!

To the winners of the “Table tennis” tournament:

-for the children – Ivaylo Penchev

-among the youth – Velesin Petrov

-among the veterans – Ivaylo Petrov

Many more sporting successes!
