A social experiment was conducted on Hristo Botev Square

Today we mark the Day of Botev and those who died for the freedom and independence of Bulgaria. On this occasion the team of the Youth Center – Vratsa held a social experiment devoted to the life and work of the revolutionary poet. Despite the bad weather, it did not prevent us from realizing our initiative! 28 chairs were placed on Hristo Botev Square in Vratsa – for as many years as the poet lived, leaving for this short time an indelible mark in the history of Bulgaria. Anyone who wished had the opportunity to sit in front of the monument and read one of his works, which was waiting for him at his place. The main idea was to provoke the casual passers-by and guests of the city by reading the poems of the genius poet to think about values such as freedom, equality and brotherhood, and then to share with us their feelings!
