A few days ago, the Youth Center – Vratsa hosted the youth academy “New leaders of Bulgaria”, organized by Round Table 1 Sofia. It was attended by young people aged between 18 and 29 from across the country. The young people managed to meet wonderful lecturers who shared their invaluable experience with them. Among these teachers were Lazar Radkov from “Caps for the future”, Blazhka Dimitrova from “ZeroWaste Bulgaria”, Lilia Elenkova from the “National youth card” and co-founder of the “National youth forum Bulgaria” and many others.

The participants were presented with a model for making events and projects, and they had to think about their idea that they want to develop. Some of the ideas they focused on were: a youth academy for financial literacy, the creation of a youth bar, and a sports camp to prevent obesity.

For Youth Center – Vratsa it was a pleasure to host the first such event organized by Round Table 1 Sofia and hopefully there are many more similar events.
