Happy International Youth Day!

This is an event of particular importance to the world’s youth. In Lisbon on 8-12 August 1998, at the World Conference of Ministers Responsible for Youth, it was decided to celebrate International Youth Day on 12 August. This officially took place on December 17, 1999, with UN General Assembly Resolution 54/120. For the first time in Bulgaria, this day was celebrated in 2007.
International Youth Day gives an opportunity for young people to share their potential, to celebrate their achievements and to plan better ways to involve them in the development of our society.
The day is a field for youth initiatives, youth policies and for youth engagement on a global level.
