The National Folklore Assembly “Ledenika” took place last weekend.Youth Center – Vratsa for another year organizes “Children’s Corner” for the youngest and slightly older guests and participants of the event.It was divided into two main parts – a craft workshop for the little ones and “Games from the Time of Grandmother and Grandfather”. The participants had the opportunity to weave on looms and learn more about traditional Bulgarian crafts and the different types of Bulgarian needlework. During “Games from the Time of Grandmother and Grandfather” the children tried tug-of-war, folk ball, blind grandmother, drunk carrot and many many more!
The days during the National Folklore Assembly “Ledenika” were filled with many pleasant emotions, children’s noise and smiles.This is the place to express our sincere thanks to all the volunteers from the Student Municipal Council – Vratsa, the Rotary Club & Interact Club Vratsa, the Bulgarian Youth Red Cross – Vratsa and all the volunteers at the Youth Center – Vratsa, who joined the event and made it even more – colorful and unforgettable with its dedication, youthful spirit and enthusiasm.
