The “bottle eaters” or containers for collecting plastic bottles, which are available at the Youth Center – Vratsa and are located in 3 places in our city, thanks to the hard work and persistence, we can say that they are used over time with greater intensity and the recognition of their purpose is becoming wider among people who recognize the individual gathering as their own, for which we are extremely happy and proud

The “bottle eaters” or containers for collecting plastic bottles, which are available at the Youth Center – Vratsa and are located in 3 places in our city, thanks to the hard work and persistence, we can say that they are used over time with greater intensity and the recognition of their purpose is becoming wider among people who recognize the individual gathering as their own, for which we are extremely happy and proud.

Thanks to the three “bottle eaters”, we also share with you some interesting facts in numbers. In one month they collect between 60-90 kg. plastic. The period from which we started collecting plastic bottles with the “bottle eaters” dates back to April 2022, which means that we have collected between 1620 – 2430 kg so far. plastic bottles.

As we shared above, the “bottle eaters” are increasingly used, which necessitates their more frequent servicing. And what it is – we empty the bottles from the “bottle eaters” into plastic garbage bags, then transport them to a common larger point in the city, where we store them until we collect a large enough amount to hand over to ECOPACK.
It is in this process that we have found in recent months, especially, that it is quite laborious for us to cope on our own, and that is why we are appealing with the opportunity for those of you who recognize the cause to volunteer with us in collecting the quantities of plastic bottles from the “bottle eaters”.
